Ron Paul supporters think themselves too principled to vote for anyone else. Meanwhile Soros and the NWO types, as well as the Marxists on the left are in the shadows waiting to take our liberties away as soon as the Paul supporters hand the election over to them as I anticipate will happen. Is Ron Paul misunderstood? Let’s take a look at this question.
The Texan advocates policies which are the exact opposite of his rhetoric. If you visit his website it indicates he supports many things he actually opposes.
With Ron Paul you always have to read the fine print. His speeches before conservative audiences are often impressive, but the reality is completely different. Some examples are:
- Paul is a registered Republican but expresses considerable disdain for the GOP. He says there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats. In 1987 the Congressman said “I want to completely disassociate myself from Ronald Reagan,” and described his administration as a “dramatic failure.”
He accused George H.W. Bush of war crimes, and wanted to impeach George W. Bush because of the non-existent North American Union. He says Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) is part of the “international conspiracy” and endorsed his primary opponent. Paul refused to endorse Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) in 2008, and was the only Republican to express approval when Democrats captured control of the House and Senate in 2006. If Paul is not nominated, he refuses to pledge support for the 2012 GOP presidential candidate.
All this dissension does is foster contempt for the GOP by his followers, and anyone listening within the sound of his voice. I would argue that Ron Paul is doing more harm than good to the Republican party by running as a republican. Imagine a prominent democrat figure such as Hillary Clinton or Harry Reid running as a Republican but then saying every nasty thing they could about the republican party. Then coloring their speeches with words of righteous indignation. Soon their supporters start to believe they are the only right kind of republican, everyone else is a neoconservative (neocon) or stupid, or uninformed. Then imagine scores of crowds especially disaffected young people, and TeaParty types who are discouraged by the lack of fiscal restraint and decisive action by their party flocking to the NEW right republican the only true conservative. Then imagine support coming in from the left, and the Democrats with who this new message resonates and money flowing from the powerful Soros crowd who now see an opportunity to disrupt the Republican field and confuse the independents into believing “this guy knows my plight.” Soon infighting, confusion, and arguments ensue among the party faithful and ”independents” who have taken on the title of Libertarian and are now furious at the GOP. Sound crazy? I have just described what I see going on right now in America among the conservatives, Republicans, and Independents who would vote Republican. We are split and they are winning. I now see clearly how Obama will get a second term

Unfortunately Rosie, Obama will win a second term regardless of who the Republican nominee is. And that has nothing to do with Ron Paul or his supporters, but rather a weak and self-destructive GOP field. Mitt Romney (The Strongest Candidate in the Race) has flip-flopped on a lot of issues, cannot connect with voters, and has a shadier business record than a European bordello. He’s not the answer for the GOP and I guarantee you, he will get his ass kicked in the general election. However, Dr. Paul has a consistent conservative record. Hell, even Newt Gingrich agrees with him on a lot of things. Ron Paul IS a Republican and has stated numerous times he will not run as a 3rd party candidate. If anything you should be writing an article bashing Donald Trump, who’s said on Fox News that if the wrong person is nominated he will run for president (which would guarantee an Obama White House for another 4 years). If we as republicans choose not to embrace Ron Paul and his ideas, I fear that the dumb-ocrats will take control of congress and the white house for decades.
It wasn’t my intention to bash Ron Paul. Only to inform, but I agree the GOP is spineless, and totally has lost its way

Rosie, Ron Paul threatened to leave the Republican Party because Ronald Reagan turned into a big spender (on military) and tax raiser. The argument being he forced the collapse of the U.S.S.R. while, in fact, Imperialism (Afghanistan to be exact) caused the collapse of the Soviet Empire, as well as building a Nuclear Arsenal. This is your site, and you can tell your story however you choose.
I think most people believe in the Constitution of the US, not in wings. Most Republicans seem to believe the word “Conservative” is closer to the meaning of the Constitution than the word “Liberal” or “Progressive”, but that’s wrong. Conservative has zero to do with Constitution. Conservative has more to do with controlling social behaviors and taxing single mothers at the same rate as multi-billionaires. The key word in my diatribe is “Controlling”. As a matter of fact, you could replace the word “Wing” in Right Wing and Left Wing with the word “Control”.
I was raised a democrat, found Rush Limbaugh, and became a republican, watched George Bush spend money like crazy, start wars all over the place and pass the Patriot Act (Which should be called the Unpatriotic Act). And then Ron Paul taught me what “Liberty” means. The Government bureaucrats are supposed to be the servants of the People under the rules stipulated by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, not Lords of the, defacto, American Subjects.
I hope Obama does win, and I can’t stand Obama!
Oh so you dont post my comment?
Weak very weak!!!
It’s the Rosie censorship show, we could just call you “FOX NEWS”
What are you talking about? I haven’t censored anything.
I posted a comment last week about your message to Ron Paul supporters.
It is no longer here….
Yes Rosie, it was indeed your intention to bash Ron Paul, but as a supporter of his, it is something I have become numb to. This is just more of the GOP spin to place the blame of its party squarely on the back of Ron Paul. This to enable them to point a finger later, when their and obviously your. chosen candidate loses to Obama. To think one of the other hopeless, lieing, flip flopping, bible thumping candidates cane win over Obama, is simply stupid. How could Obama not win, when he is up against himself? But, I am getting a bit carried away, let me post here, my response to your pathetic little blame game article.
Rosie, you are right on the money, Obama will win his second term. This all due to the GOP ignoring Ron Paul and his followers. For people like you, who I simply put in the same mold as the main street media, bought and paid for. You have your head stuck in the sand Rosie, and not just due to your looks. See how easy it is to attack someone, who is misunderstood? Romney, Santorum, and Newt, are simply status quo, to argue otherwise simply makes no sense. Ron Paul has a distain for anyone who does not stand by their own convictions, republican or democrat. It’s hard for americans to actually recognize an honest polititian, which is how far we have come in believing what we want to hear. He makes no promisses that he will have to break. He simply tells everyone what he feels are the issues and how he feels they should be fixed. The problem with most americans is the fact that they have forgotten how to vote their conscience and simply vote for their party, no matter what liar is standing there in the end. Correct Rosie, I and so many many others, will vote for just one man this year, Ron Paul.
BTW, it was never my intention to bash you. (wink wink)
Ok. I’m woman enough to take the criticism. Good luck with all that. I hope writing in your candidate nets you the result you seek. It won’t. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Have a nice day. Come back again
Your exactly right Jim, all three and Barry are the same.
1. all in favor of big government to take care of us
2. all believe in the banker bail-outs
3. all are for the patriot act
4. all four are for NDAA
5. all are fine with the FED doing business as usual
6. not one of them other than Paul predicted the housing crises
7. for the last 15+ years if the news media wanted to talk about finance or the budget or deficits they would call on Ron Paul
I could go on and on…….. So to think a vote for anyone but Ron Paul would accomplish anything but more of the same, im afraid you are willfully ignorant.
Rosie..the problem is not Ron Paul…he actually stands for most conservative values…liberty, freedom for all, government staying out of peoples business etc..The Evangelicals have hijacked the GOP..and almost every moderate GOP member has been voted out, or as in Senator Snowe’s case..she is leaving because of the gridlock in politics…Republicans need to realize that the word compromise needs to exist, period…the “its my way or the highway” routine is getting old, and just shows the unwillings to work, in a moderate way, with the opposing side. The other problem with the GOP is social issues..the Supreme Court has already ruled on abortion..and GOP members have helped pass gay marriage is some states recently…so we better wake up..and a true conservative does not stand in the way of a hard working, tax paying, patriotic gay Americans rights. Immigration laws..like the one that will pass in Arizona, once the Supreme Court upholds it, will further distance Hispanic’s from our party. Hispanics will eventually be a majority in a number of states in the next 20 years..so if we want to survire..we need to listen to the moderates in our party..not just the severe right wing of it.
